Publishers: Fallback Ad Network
We don't have an exhaustive inventory of high-paying CPM ads, especially since we are just getting
started. That means in reality we can service only a percentage of your traffic. If we don't have
an ad that pays the amount that you want, we want you to do what best serves your interests. We will redirect
the ad space (iframe) to the ad network of your choice. You should be careful to check that the
dimensions of the iframe match the dimension of the the fallback ad network's iframe.
Example of Social Media Ad Code:
For your
site you would enter the following for the
Redirect URL: http://ads.socialmedia.com/facebook/monetize.php?width=645&height=60&pubid=xxxx
Q: What ad network do you recommend?
A: Really any of them should be fine. There is a
nice list of them over at
Developer Analytics. Different people claim different ones make them more money; you will have to discover
this for yourself.
Q: How do I get the URL from the code snippet that the fallback ad network gives me?
A: Just find and copy out the URL in the "src" attribute of the "iframe" tag. See samples above
Q: What happens if your network fails?
A: If you have integrated with us using the FBML/FBJS or the HTML/JS solution, then the iframe
will remain blank. As a result the reliability of our network is a top concern: (1) we can add capacity
within minutes if traffic spikes (2) load balancing is done on the client side so that there is no single
point of failure (3) if errors do occur, automatic notifications summon our engineers immediately. If
you are really concerned about this then we recommend that you implement our backend integration solution
that allows you to respond to service failures gracefully.
